Helping Young
Dyslexic Minds Thrive
Est. 2010
June 27 - August 1, 2026
The Rocky Mountain Camp (RMC) summer “day” camp for kids with dyslexia, provides an intensive 5-week language immersion program for diagnosed dyslexic youngsters ages 7-12. RMC’s highly individualized academic program provides an hour daily of the following:
One-on-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring, individualized study hall, composition, and fluency reading.
This summer camp for dyslexic kids’s immersion program builds a strong language foundation which allows students greater success when they return to their normal academic environment. Many of these youngsters will progress through several levels in their language skills during the 5-week, Monday – Friday summer session.
Rocky Mountain Camp also provides a variety of outdoor adventures designed to help develop creativity, enhance self-esteem, foster individual strengths, and generate enthusiasm. Confidence gained through successful participation in these pursuits often translates into a more positive attitude which can last long after campers leave Rocky Mountain Camp.
What We Do
“Attending Rocky Mountain Camp was extremely beneficial for our son. The academic part and one-on one tutoring were amazing as were all the outdoor camp activities. After five weeks, our son left RMC with a deep sense of pride in his reading ability and a sense of community with the other campers, who like him, have dyslexia. A HUGE Thank You to all the staff for making our first summer at RMC a memorable one! We’ll definitely be back next summer.”
